Windsurfing: Lagoon, Dahab Wind Direction: NE Wind Stength: 6 Surf / Sea State: Flat Air Temperature: Warm Sea Temperature: Warm Weather: warm & sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered:
Sailed out on a North sails 5.7 and fanatic triple X 139. Sarah had the 119
again with a 5.0.
We both had a couple of really good blasts, feeling well powered up, but in
control (unlike yesterday).
Our coach (Becky) then gave us some really good waterstart practice to do,
so spent a couple of hours getting to grips with rig recovery and
waterstarting.
Sarah could do the getting on bit fine - but found the rig recovery almost
drowned her!! So she kept just sailing off and enjoying herself :o)
I made a couple of good ones, so I was really pleased by the time we sailed
in for lunch.
Unfortunately the wind was dropping, so we wouldn't be able to sail in the
afternoon. It seems that the wind comes early and can fade away.
A good session, and I've learnt something new so :o)
